The Grand Pub Opening 2022

The Pub at BCCHS opened recently to sell breakfast food to students in the morning. They sell 11 food items and 11 drinks that are selected to start off the day. Students can stop in most mornings from 7:45 a.m. to 8:10 a.m.
To let everyone know about this year’s Pub opening, the class made a banner and made announcements leading up to the opening. They also handed out flyers to some students that included coupons for free donuts.
This year’s menu is different from last year’s with some items leaving the menu and new items coming in. Two new items for the 2022-2023 school year are breakfast bowls and breakfast burritos. The menu still has the most popular item, the donuts, which stay every year because of their top-selling performance.
The pub is run by the Advanced Business Solutions class which is an elective offered to seniors. The students in this class are in charge of accounting, marketing, inventory, and management for The Pub. The goal for the students is to learn useful skills that will be transferrable into the workplace. On opening day the account for the pub, Filippo Caparoso, exclaimed “This is our grand opening day, and it’s really exciting to be here. A lot of people are showing up.”
