State Swim

Montana State A Swimming is an event that many Central students and families look forward to, especially the kids on the swim team. The Central swimming team did especially well this year thanks to their astounding seniors and coaches and their many newcomers this season. The Central swimming team has won state for many years in a row thanks to their excellent coaches and the family-like community of the team. Many seniors this year have won state every year of their swimming career at Central. Senior Megan Beers said, “My last year at state was everything I could have asked for, and the memories that came along with it I will never forget.” Beers said that she was able to accomplish everything that she has wanted to for a long time during her last swimming season at Central. Central’s team provides an opportunity for people to branch out and make new friends. Many freshmen try swimming their first year at Central, and although it may not be everyone’s thing, many people can safely say that they will swim throughout their entire career at Central. Freshman Greyson Piseno said, “My favorite part about state was my races with friends and the environment during our hotel stays and bus rides.” Many swimmers this year even surpassed their personal records at state. The Central swimming team did very well at state this year, and the swimmers will never forget the memories that they made along the way.
