This year, three Central cheerleaders—Isabelle Desmarais, Cyann Crabtree, and Kayden Soucy—participated in the Varsity Spirit Spectacular in the 82nd annual Pearl Harbor Parade.
The girls practiced in large groups with cheerleaders from eight other states. They also studied American History and World War II through guided tours of multiple historical sites before joining in the 82nd Pearl Harbor parade. Their coach, Amber Desmarais said, “It was a great opportunity to learn about the native culture in Hawaii and learn about history that they probably wouldn’t have if they hadn’t had that opportunity.”
