On February 1st, the Billings Central Jazz Band headed down to Craft Local, a venue that “opened in 2017 as a community-minded non-profit with a vision in supporting Montana art, music, dance, poetry, comedy and other cultural events” to show off their musical talents. This year, the jazz band, directed by Brandon Martinez, has had their very first “Gigs” as a group rather than performing at the school concerts like in previous years. The group included Aidan Molloy, John Pender, David Ramshaw, Luke Auer, Broady Stathos, Patryk Starosta, Zelaya Paumer, Landon Paumer, Alessio Vanti, Brayden Degel, Joshua Strydom, and Sarah Spini. The Jazz Band is a small group, but is very talented and ready to showcase the God-given talents they possess. Martinez was excited for the chance to showcase the band’s skills, saying “We were invited by School District 2. How could I miss that opportunity?”
