Central High School’s annual TWIRP dance took place on Saturday, December 7th, with tickets priced at $15. This year’s “Glow Party” theme illuminated the small gym from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM, transforming it into a vibrant and energetic space.
As students arrived, they were greeted with glow sticks to match the theme. The gym was adorned with vibrant hues of red, blue, orange, pink, and yellow. Two photo booths added to the excitement: one where Mrs. Adams captured photos, and another with a glittering backdrop for instant selfies.
The crowning of the TWIRP royalty added a touch of excitement. Female royalty candidates were Gianna Haney, Lydia Todd, Anna Kim, and Emma Meunier while Milana Michalsky reigned as queen. Royalty candidates for boys were Luke Auer, Evan Miller, Cole Hoffman, and JJ Michalsky with Jack Debourg claiming the title of king.
“It was super fun!” exclaimed senior Anna Kim. “The decorations were very well presented, and I loved how each person was given a glow stick at the entrance – it perfectly incorporated the theme!”
For many students, the highlight of the evening was simply enjoying the company of their friends in a social environment. “My favorite aspects of the dance were getting to hang out with friends and getting ready with them,” shared freshman Vanessa Sheridan.
The “Glow Party” proved to be a resounding success, creating lasting memories for the Central High School student body.
