The Billings Central Baseball Team has begun preparing for their inaugural season under the coaching of Mike Martinson. Their first game being held at Dehler Park in Billings on March 25th. The Rams won an incredible nail-bitting game against Columbus at 6:00 PM.
The Rams Baseball players have anticipated this game since talks about implementing a baseball team first started. Freshman, Brendan Warn, stated “I think it’ll be a pretty sweet first game playing at Dehler.” Warn also believes that the Rams can win the State Championship, as he said, “The drive to succeed that the kids on the team have can lead us to the State championship.”
Freshman, Esai Flores shares similar thoughts. “I’m excited to play at Dehler,” Flores said about the Rams’ first game. “It’ll also be fun to be on the first team,” Flores stated. Flores also believes they can reach the State Championship. “I think we can get there. West and Skyview will probably be our biggest competition.” Unlike other activities, baseball is an all-class sport.
As a whole, the student body is excited for the Billings Central Rams Baseball Team’s inaugural season.
