Billings Central Football advanced to 4-0 on the season, with a homecoming night win over their arch-rivals, the number two ranked Laurel Locomotives. The Rams, defending state champions and ranked number one in Class A, derailed the Locomotives 35-0.

Montana Grizzlies commit and Central senior, William Snell, quickly took over this game, with a sixty-yard touchdown reception from senior quarterback, Howie Martin. The Rams defense forced a quick three-and-out, before the offense marched down the field for a two-yard touchdown run from Billings Central senior and rushing leader, Layne Alexander.
Senior, Ayden Salter, got another short touchdown run to end the first quarter 21-0. Alexander punched it in again from two yards out, and junior running-back, Michael Thomas, broke off a forty-four-yard touchdown to end the first half. This also gave us a final score of 35-0. Sophomore kicker, Grady Martin, went five-for-five on extra points.
Billings Central strives to continue their undefeated streak in Miles City this week against the Cowboys. Miles City moved to 1-2 this week after a close loss against Havre. Laurel, falling in the rankings to number five. The Locomotives will face off against the now second-ranked Fergus County Golden Eagles this Friday in Lewistown. The Golden Eagles are 3-0 this year, including two big wins over Miles City and Glendive.
With this rivalry win, the Rams are 61-19-1 all time against the Locomotives and have won the last five meetings according to Montanasports.com.
