If you attend Billings Central you have probably heard of the band Bone-18. Logan Hughes, Landon Hughes, Jason Coleman, and Jake Kovaks are students at Billings Central and are the founders of Bone-18.

Two years ago, Logan and Landon Hughes decided they wanted to start a band. It was almost perfect for the two: Landon could play the drums while Logan played the guitar. Bone-18 was still missing something, though. Last Christmas, Jason Coleman and Jake Kovaks received guitars as a present. With help from Logan, they were taught quickly and became the most recent members of Bone-18.

The first song that started Bone-18 is For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica. “For Whom The Bell Tolls is the first one we probably mastered,” said Logan.

This year’s talent show was Bone-18’s first performance and a great one. They performed House of the Rising Sun by The Animals and the Bone-18 special, For Whom The Bells Tolls. Out of all the contestants, it feels that Bone-18 made the biggest impact. “Bone-18 really shook the rafters, everyone loved them, and they were awesome!”,  viewer and music critic, Howie Martin exclaimed.

Before the band even made an appearance, the whole crowd was shouting, “Bone 18, Bone 18, Bone 18!”

The hype was real. Some students even purchased Bone-18 graphic t-shirts to support the band. They had a great performance, but many wondered whether Bone-18 would ever make their own music. To that, they replied, “It’s in the process.”
