Teal Taylor, Writer

Teal Taylor is a junior at Billings Central Highschool. She is a cheerleader, an active writer for the BC Chronicle, as well as a club member for the Native American Club, Speech & Debate club, and the culture kitchen club. Teal is the oldest of four daughters and comes from a small town called GarryOwen on the Crow Reservation. She loves art and continues to practice her skills with literature, reading, painting, and beadwork. Teal has grown up knowing the importance of literature and the demand that is needed for it, due to her grandfather instilling in her, “why read a book if you don’t know the author?”.
