Once a year, teachers have a chance to pursue funding for projects by friends and alumni of Billings Catholic Schools. On October 9th, Rams Day of Giving went live for 24 hours. The event is a 24-hour period where parents, alumni, faculty, and even students can donate to different projects for BCCHS and SFC.
Some of the BCCHS projects included Game Day Sound, Rams Pickleball, RAM Jam, and Tuition Assistance for BCS students. HOSA and Rambler were also looking for donations via Rams Day of Giving. The SFC projects included Lego Robotics, funding for a new laminator, Keep the Curtain Rising, End of Year Fun Day, and Field Trip Frenzy. ECE was also looking to receive donations for a new mass banner.
The total amount of money raised for the Billings Catholic Schools was $122,723. Goal Posts for the Win earned the most money, with a total of $20,020 raised. RAM Jam had the most donors, with a total number of 88 donations made.
All programs reached over 100% of their goal except for one, a new camera for Rambler. However, Mrs. Adams still earned enough money for one mirrorless camera and expressed her excitement.
This year, Rams Day of Giving was quite successful. With nearly every project reaching over 100% of their financial goal, Billings Catholic Schools will have some great improvements throughout.
